THOUSANDS DESCEND ON ONE OF THE LARGEST ELVIS CONCERTS IN NORTH AMERICAN COMMEMORATING THE 31st ANNIVERSARY OF THE PASSING OF THE KING OF ROCK AND ROLL

WHAT:
The 9th annual Michigan Elvisfest, sanctioned by Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc.
The best professional Elvis Tribute Artists in North America will perform their unique and award winning acts paying tribute to an American icon. Also appearing: The Beatles, Tom Jones, Roy Orbinson and Buddy Holly Tribute Artists.
Join us on Friday for SALUTE TO THE TROOPS. Men and women in active duty or reserve uniforms are admitted free. Free patriotic gifts for the first 850 guests.
This unique event attracts families and fans alike. An attendance of 8,000 is expected for this popular Mid-West festival.
WHERE: Shady Riverside Park, Depot Town, Ypsilanti, Michigan (Take I-94 10 miles West of I-275 or 5 miles East of US 23 to Exit 183, go North and follow the signs).
WHEN:
Friday, July 11, 2008, 5 PM - Midnight and Saturday, July 12, 2008, Noon to Midnight.
ACTIVITIES:
Children’s play area; face painting, clowns, magic acts, stilt walkers, kid karaoke, space walk, animal exhibits, crafts and rock climbing.
Beer tent, great tasting food, classic car show and much more.
